Moved in a month ago after doing a lot of apartment shopping. Some say bigger is better, but the quality of my renovated apartment is perfect. The staff is also friendly and very helpful.
I looked at so many apartment complexes in Yuma and found this place to be reasonably priced, right in the middle of town so everything is only 5 minutes away and the staff is very helpful and cares.
I love my apartment in El Encanto. There was enough space and the location was perfect for me. It's important to my whole family, I can get anywhere quickly and bonus points for being so close to Chile Pepper and The Crossing! I love being able to relax by a beautiful pool with friends and relax on my days off. I loved staying here!

I love living here, it's nice and all, but I hate that my upstairs neighbor's bed creaks so much and there's always walking around making noise all night like sleeping or what you do... like outer space, it's good to walk around with the kids, your son or you and the laundromat is good because it has a lot of washers and dryers but I don't like that it closes at certain times, it would be better if it was 24 hours and they changed the machines for new ones. as because they are old they also need to update the coin operated machines so you like cards that you fill with money or something... because there aren't even coin machines where you can exchange your money for coins. I like that the cupboards inside are big and the kitchen is small, but it is useful. Besides that, there are many cats outside, whether they also belong to people or there are strays, but it is rare to see so many cats wandering outside. Sometimes I miss my old place, but it's better here. I think I used to live upstairs and it was horrible going up and down with shopping or laundry.
PROS: cheap rent, military discount, utilities included, connected by free wifi and basic cable, good location CONS: Staff and management are indifferent and uninformed about any unit, they don't fix anything on time, no equipment works in the mine and they don't fix it , they don't write down your name or floor number when you have to submit a work order, the space is very small, the dishwasher doesn't work, the oven doesn't work, no hot water, no light in the room, you can't move the unit before the lease ends without paying $200, even if nothing works in your unit and they don't repair it, the staff says they can't guarantee appliances will work in any unit, pool. not open all year round as promised, room The laundry has not been open for 6 months and I was ripped off when I moved in because of them he said it worked and explained in detail how it worked, no storage, leaking pipes, not properly insulated so the electricity it was $120 for a 466 square foot apartment, management did not enforce cleaning up of pets on the lawn, the rental office closed early and their Phone number does not work, small refrigerator. GENERALLY, the staff and management don't seem to care, and will lie to get you out of the leasing office. I've been trying to get my appliances/hot water fixed and they haven't fixed anything in months. All the equipment is old. The models are the only ones with new equipment. You get what you pay for, but they seem to be breaking the law when it comes to Arizona renters rights. I will be moving and not recommending this place to anyone. Also, after being transferred for several months, I received bills from collection agencies that never sent or attempted to contact me. Never stay here
I have moved from out of state to this community and due to circumstances beyond my control I will not be arriving in Yuma until after the office closes. This would be very expensive for me. I called the office and Shelley agreed to meet me when I got to Yuma so I could sign my lease and get my keys even though her work day had ended a few hours earlier. After signing my lease and moving into my apartment, I am so happy with my apartment that I can honestly say this is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. I would like to thank the management and their team for making this a great place to live.
At first glance, the apartment complex is attractive and has a modern look, and the exterior is very well maintained. The models they show you are also very beautiful and you just want to jump right in and shout "I'm taking her!". But moving is another story. The first couple in months had been a nightmare. I was given a studio with old, bloated cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom, the cockroaches that came out were HUGE, the AC unit was very old and smelled musty 24/7, the whole studio was so dated that he could move on. problems in the 2 months I've been here. The toilet flushed me several times and I have to clean up the dirty water. I hope they will let me move but if I do they will sue as I live in a disgusting complex. Don't rent here, you will regret it like me.
